Mojave Albino compared to Albino…

Posted: December 24, 2014 in Uncategorized

These two just shed and I figured I would snap a quick pic of them together. Albinos have always been one of may favorite morphs and the Mojave Albino is just awesome. The whites on the Mojave Albino are actually more pink in person and are hard to capture on camera. I cannot wait to see her when she is breeding size in a few years. She will be epic. This was a long project to complete.

I started this by breeding my Albino female to a male Mojave in 2009. In 2010, I hatched 2 female Mojaves het Albino which I kept. After getting them up to size, I bred both females to my Albino male in 2013. The larger female had 5 eggs and produced 2 Albino Mojaves, 2 Mojaves het Albino and 1 het Albino! It was a pretty neat clutch. If I keep the female Mojave Albinos, I will breed them to my Tri Stripe male in a few years!
