This evening I was going through snakes to spot clean and change papers and found my big het tri stripe female ovulating! It’s 13 months to the day since she ovulated last year. Last year she had 6 eggs so I’m hoping she has that many again this year. With any luck half of the babies will be tri stripe. She bred to my tri stripe male so there should be a 50/50 ratio of hets and visuals.
I’m not sure if you can tell in the pic above, but in person she’s really swollen up.
This is male male tri stripe. He’s been quite a stud this season. I’m really looking forward to seeing a super pastel axanthic tri stripe and an albino mojave tri stripe (already have one but want more of them) as well as the pied tri stripes. This coming season I plan to breed this male to my pastel sugar and my leopard female.
