This evening, my female albino ball had her prelay shed. I’ve had this female since she was a hatchling and have had her since 2006. She’s produced a lot of eggs over the years.
She will usually have 6 or 7, so I’m hoping for at least that many this season. She’s really the founder of all my albino stuff. In 2009 I bred my spider to her to produce spiders het albino. I those hets up and ended up producing albino spiders in 2012. In 2011, she produced eggs that were sired by my mojave and in 2014 I produced my first albino mojaves. It’s pretty neat seeing a project through from start to finish like that.
This year she will produce albinos and maybe albino spiders so that will be exciting to see. Albinos are always one of my favorites to hatch.
Here’s a pic of her
And one of her great grand daughters. ..
I can’t wait to see more of these later this summer!
